Second Year

It was a great second year of medical school. After arriving a few too many days late, I went straight into trying to catch up which wasn’t easy but nothing is impossible with God. Finished all course work and only have one exam left which I can take anytime (will be taking it in the coming fall). My grades were quite decent for the whole year. The whole semester can be summed up by these words- “watch me!” (Something that was forever in the back of my mind as things got easy and sometimes not so easy, I was constantly reminded of waiting upon the Lord and it was amazing to see God doing everything and me watching Him doing it.) So praise the Lord for all!
Finished second semester on the 25th of June and boarded a plane the next day on my way to Pennsylvania where I am at the moment for another week or so. Still trying to find an airline that will not loose my luggage. Last time they lost my guitar (it was never found) and so this time I was very determined to pack light and not have any extra stuff. Well, my bags didn’t make the last connection on time, but they arrived the next day. It has been a good time of just resting (I think I need to find myself something to do…cant stand the whole- I have nothing planned for today kind of thing!).
Things I have enjoyed in the last couple of months:
- Amanda
- Sanity
- The “motherland”
- Having good friends graduate from medical school and heading out to apply that which they have learned and proclaim Christ at the same time.
- Being a nerd
- Looking forward to making it to Ohio and meeting lots of people
- Speaking Afrikaans

Cold very cold

What time of the day are you

You Are Sunrise

You enjoy living a slow, fulfilling life. You enjoy living every moment, no matter how ordinary.
You are a person of reflection and meditation. You start and end every day by looking inward.
Caring and giving, you enjoy making people happy. You're often cooking for friends or buying them gifts.
All in all, you know how to love life for what it is - not for how it should be.
